It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Peggy Karidza. I have known Peggy since 2019, when she began working for me as my mother's primary care provider. She did this continuously for almost six years until my mother passed away in October 2024 at the age of 91. Peggy was a blessing to our family and took spectacular care of my mom physically and emotionally.
Testimonials

I have enjoyed knowing and working in partnership (as a geriatric care manager) with Peggy (Margaret) Karidza since 2019. Peggy is delightful, always smiling and seeing life from a glass-half-full perspective; she loves to laugh. She lived with and cared for my client Ann for almost six years, including during the early days of COVID-19 when she worked without time off for 3-4 months. Her dedication to Ann was extraordinary and beyond what I have observed in most caregivers I have worked with.

I am pleased to write this recommendation letter for Peggy Karidza. We were so lucky to have had Peggy as our Mom’s live-in caregiver for almost six years! As the daughter who lived a mile away and constantly visited and called, I can probably say I was the closest to observing Peggy as my Mom’s caregiver. Peggy has many qualities, but most importantly, she is loving and considerate.
Hear what others are saying…
"Peggy is a kind aide and very good at negotiating with clients who may not want to follow their doctor’s orders. She was not pushy but firm. She became a source of comfort to my aunt and learned Nan’s preferences. She looked out for Nan by reporting fill-ins who did not follow standard practices. She drove, grocery shopped, cooked, and fed/walked Nan’s companion dog. As Nan got older, she needed help dressing and showering. Peggy provided assistance with a caring nature and positive attitude.”

“She is exactly the type of caregiver I would have chosen for my own mother. No one is more trustworthy. The fact that she wants to pursue a degree in social work and gerontology will only enhance her already abundant natural gifts in taking care of our most vulnerable loved ones.”
- Joann Silvestro
“She is compassionate, patient, loving, dedicated, knowledgeable, kind, and caring, to name a few of her admirable qualities. She is also able to navigate complicated family dynamics with sensitivity, grace, and respect. In my role as a parish administrator for an Episcopal church, I have witnessed families in trying circumstances, and as such, I understand the depth of Peggy's abilities in this area.
It is without reservation that I would recommend Peggy to you.”

“I witnessed the loving care that Peggy showered on Nan. They truly loved each other. Peggy is so kind, loving, patient with a lovely sense of humor and she is a very good and capable cook. I often said that I’ve known other caregivers and Peggy is a “cut above” any other caregiver I’ve known. She became part of the Family. I honestly can’t recommend her more highly. She is a really wonderful person and I would definitely endorse her to care for someone in need.”

“If you are looking for someone to love, nurture, support, enjoy, and care for your loved one, you must consider Margaret Karidza, Peggy. I have known Peggy for almost six years now, when she first came to be Nan Walsh's caregiver. From the minute I met her, her warmth and sincerity touched my heart. I am a close friend of the Walsh family and have known them for 50 years. Nan was always a loving nurturer to me since my own mother died in 1976. I was so happy that Mare and Mark found someone who would love and nurture Nan like she did to others...and how we all wanted her. That was Peggy.
Peggy was always there to be with Nan and made sure she had everything she needed. She is also a great cook! Not only was she a caregiver to Nan, they became good friends and confidants, as was so evident when they were together. Peggy took great care of all Nan's health and emotional needs. There were many trips to the ER, hospital, and doctors...Peggy always knew what to do.
Peggy is a very insightful person. She reads people so well and will adapt to whatever you feel your loved one needs. Nan and Peggy became like family. That might not be what you're looking for, but I can assure you no matter what your family or your loved one needs, Peggy will figure it out. I must note that in this role, I could see that it is not only taking care of your loved one; a person needs to be able to adjust to a whole family. Whether it be daughters, sons, nieces, sisters, brothers, friends, etc., Peggy was kind, understanding, and empathetic to everyone's needs. This can be a tough time for any family; Peggy is a wonderful, objective navigator of the situation. She is trustworthy and genuine. I honestly cannot say enough good things. I really do believe she enriched Nan's last years of life and that of the whole circle of the Walsh family and friends.”
